One of the nicest lenses in my Asahi collection. It’s a common lens, but veeeeery nice. Buy one! ;)
If you want more about Takumar lenses it’s a good idea to register on www.takumar.org or www.pentaxforums.com.
The DSB range of the Yashica brand is not supposed to be that good. It was their lowcost alternative and single coated. But this Yashica DSB 50mm/1.9 has surprised me a lot. I love the ML 50mm/2, but it would be hard to compare these two. The DSB is a little bigger which makes it easier to handle the rings.
I will soon post some more on the yashicaforum.
Interesting bokeh of my Asahi Opt.Co. Super-Takumar 105mm/2.8 M42 on Canon EOS 350D:
I was listening on David Bowie singing “My Death” while editing this image, I thought the feeling was appropiate to this leaf that’s near death ;)

Took som pictures in the woods with Yashica ML 50mm/2 about a week ago. Here is a BW-conversion. More can bee seen on YashicaForum.com
This is the Asahi Pentax Spotmatic with Super-Takumar 135mm/3.5 (M42 mount offcourse). Nice old camera and lens. It’s very pretty, I’m thinking of making this into a wallpaper. What do you think?
Oh, by the way, the image is shot with Yashica ML 50mm/2 on Canon EOS 350D.
This morning I went to collect my bike, which was left in the woods with a flat tire the other week. Took the Asahi Pentax S-M-C Takumar 300mm/4 along and shot a view of the village I live in here in Sweden, Garphyttan. I might have some flaws, but I like that this image shows the feel of this place.
