Mir-1V russian lens photographed on Zenit and Canon
I’ve been taking pictures of another lens Richard sent me, the Mir-1V 37mm/2.8. It is an M42 so I put it on the Zenit ET and then the Canon EOS 300V (SLR) with an adapter.

Oh, why doesn’t Santa Richard send me any beauties like this?! Guess I haven’t been as nice as you, Mattias! ;o) Looking forward to seeing some photos with both cameras. I did bid on a very beautiful Mir on Ebay but the price got too high for my wallet. Well, it’s not too far to borrow one’s neighbours. *lol*

If only Santa Richard had more to spare he would! just happened I already had these 2 lenses, then got 2 more in a job lot of Zenit stuff that I got for bellows and other bits, so Mattias is lucky!

Yes I am :) Really like them, thanks. They are a bit hard to focus with but it will get better when I buy my next DSLR, because I will se to it that it is one where I can add a focusscreen (I love that feature in the film cameras).
