Asahi Super-Takumar 135mm/3.5 on Pentax Spotmatic – beautiful old camera

This is the Asahi Pentax Spotmatic with Super-Takumar 135mm/3.5 (M42 mount offcourse). Nice old camera and lens. It’s very pretty, I’m thinking of making this into a wallpaper. What do you think?
Oh, by the way, the image is shot with Yashica ML 50mm/2 on Canon EOS 350D.

This is just a thing of simple, exquisite, beauty – and in lovely condition too. I used to have an S1a, and was sad when the shutter became unreliable. I took the chance to pull it apart (it was just a spare ‘fun’ camera), but didn’t get anywhere – although I had fun doing it. The bits went to a heroic camera repairer in Edinburgh, who still serviced old models.

Dash it all, I think I might have to acquire a ‘matic
    before too long.
