Yesterday I went to the factory industrial museum here in Garphyttan and took the Asahi S-M-C Takumar 55mm/1.8 with me. I had to shoot with very large aperture due to the low lights in the room (and I had no tripod or flash with me). Many images were blurry, but some ok – this is the first of the photos I run through Photoshop

Took a walk yesterday, the result is uploaded in a Flickr-set seen in the slideshow below. Used Yashica DSB 50mm/1.9, Yashica ML 50mm/2, Asahi Auto-Takumar 85mm/1.8, Asahi Super-Takumar 105mm/2.8.

The other day I was out for a walk with my wife and duaghter. I had some good experiences with the Super-Takumar 135mm/3.5 making portraits and birdshots. Here are a couple of portraits converted to black and white in Photoshop (with Channel-mixer).

The DSB range of the Yashica brand is not supposed to be that good. It was their lowcost alternative and single coated. But this Yashica DSB 50mm/1.9 has surprised me a lot. I love the ML 50mm/2, but it would be hard to compare these two. The DSB is a little bigger which makes it easier to handle the rings.

Took som pictures in the woods with Yashica ML 50mm/2 about a week ago. Here is a BW-conversion. More can bee seen on YashicaForum.com

This morning I went to collect my bike, which was left in the woods with a flat tire the other week. Took the Asahi Pentax S-M-C Takumar 300mm/4 along and shot a view of the village I live in here in Sweden, Garphyttan. I might have some flaws, but I like that this image shows the feel of this place.
