Renewed Flickr account today

I renewed my Flickr account today to Pro. I use Flickr and Ipernity, so I use double webservice image storage/communities. I like Ipernity where also are a translator to my language, but many of my old images are linked from my websites to Flickr since I have used their pro-account for a few years. A later image is this leaf with drops, photographed with the lens Asahi Super-Takumar 85mm/1.9 on my Canon.

Stuck on flowers

This time of year the flower is a motif easy to get stuck on. There are so many, so nice with bokeh. We miss them during the winter in Sweden. Then comes the autumn and a lot of images show autumn leafs ;) Well, here are some more flowers I portraied in the City park in Ă–rebro. They are made with Helios 44-3 and S-M-C Takumar 55mm/1.8 lenses and Canon EOS 350D (and a M42->EOS adapter of course). Guess which is which?

International film buying day

October 1st has been announced as a international film buying day. There is a group on Flickr created by Chris Bloom, that you can join. Heres a quote from the statement:

“I ask all who enjoy shooting on film to go out on the same day, October 1, and buy a roll (or rolls or sheets for that matter!) of film. I’m sure the sudden spike in film sales would be noticed [...]”

A noble task indeed!

Kodachrome production to an end

I have read in several places now that Kodachrome production will end. I thought this was old news, but I might be suffering from deja vu. Sad, surely, but I have to admit I never actually used it. But that’s true for many old things which I love, I use them today instead. If you wan’t to read more there’s a thread on MFlenses, feel free to give more source in the comments.
