Renewed Flickr account today

I renewed my Flickr account today to Pro. I use Flickr and Ipernity, so I use double webservice image storage/communities. I like Ipernity where also are a translator to my language, but many of my old images are linked from my websites to Flickr since I have used their pro-account for a few years. A later image is this leaf with drops, photographed with the lens Asahi Super-Takumar 85mm/1.9 on my Canon.

Some winter berries with Super-Takumar 85mm/1.8. I feel a little bit like they look at the moment. Wish it could be summer soon, with more daylight and possibility to exercise in nature. It would be great with some more energy.

Autumn bokeh again

Every year I get cought up in the autumn bokeh again, the leafs turning red. It is one year ago I did the same thing with the Auto-Takumar 85mm/1.9, this year it’s Super-Takumar 85mm/1.9. It’s bokeh suits me for this type of images. I just hope I can grow as photographer even if the motifs are the same ;)

Another Aquilegia vulgaris

These beautiful flowers Aquilegia vulgaris grow in a place near my home (yes, I live in a nice place). They come in different shades of blue to white. In swedish they are called Akleja, according to Wikipedia en english name is European Columbine. The image is made with my lens Asahi Super-Takumar 28mm/3.5, an M42 lens attached to my Canon EOS 350D. I also used an M42 extensionring from Chinon. I kind of like the result.

Fixing a Super-Takumar 135mm/3.5 from wobbling hood

I had some problem with the front cover and hood on my Asahi Super-Takumar 135mm/3.5 m42-lens. The front “hull” or what you might call it, wobbled… including the filterthreads and the hood. Didn’t affect the imageproperties of the lens (the glass didn’t move) but annoying to use.

This turned out to be easy…

Unscrew the ring where the lensname is printed. That’s just a ring screwed down in the filterthreads. Take a round object with smaller diameter then the 49mm filterthreads, cover it with a rubberglove or something that’s soft but has friction. Press down and unscrew the name-ring.
The front hull of the lens is atteched with three small screws. Tighten the small screws you see down between the hull and the lenses glass.
Reattach the name-ring. Done!
