Magic with the Industar 50-2
This little thing Industar 50-2 can do margic. I’m sure. Miracles. Or maybe it just makes me relax when I photograph. Makes me more playful…
And it’s so small, this little russian Tessar-formula M42-lens. Here it is on the small film SLR Canon EOS 300V:
Ice with Yashica ML 50mm/2
In the river nearby, down the hill the water goes but sometimes freezes in time. Caught with Yashica ML 50mm/2 and my Canon. This was before the real cold came, I want to get back there some day soon . now it’s bound to be more ice!
Sledgeride with Yashica zoom
I like this zoom (Yashica MC 35-70mm 3.5-4.5). Did som portraits that feelt good this weekend, sharp. This image below might not show that much from the zooms qualities, but I like the feeling of the image. My wife is pulling the little plastic sledge with my dayghter.
I’m going to take the zoom in to town tomorrow, if I will be able to carry it with everyting else.
The Yashica MC Zoom 35-70mm 3.5-4.5 on a cold decemberwalk…
Yesterday I took my new Yashica zoom for a walk in the sourroundings. It was afternoon (=sundown) and cold, snowing… ruff light to photograph in. But I managed to get some nice shots, specially one I really like.
It’s something special walking through a cold, silent, white landscape. It can be very calming. Together with the trees I can feel it’s a spiritual experience. There not much colour information for the mind to process, shapes become patterns or hidden in snow. Other shapes, like special branches, get accentuated.
