This is my new Yashica, I just have to show it of even if it’s just unpacked and not tested. The camera in it self might not be fantastic in it’s function but the lens is. And they always look soooo damn good! It was made in 1977, when I was 2 years old.

Hello again Mattias !
This time I am going to write my comment in english ;-)
I have also got an “new” Yashica SLR – an Yashica TL-Super – that I found
this saturday when I visited Loppmarknaden in Vårby. I got the camera incl.
a 50 mm lens and a 135 mm lens for 100 SEK.
Unfortenetly, as I found out when I got home, the 135 mm lens was broken really bad… but i still think it was a fair price. I will have to check the 50 mm lens later today but I think it is OK… anyway, the camera body was fine.
Regards, Thomas
Nice :) What is the name on the lenses? The ML lenses are good, my DX 50mm/1.7 also feels good.
I have a TL-Electro and its one of my favourite cameras good, solid, robust m-42,takes millions of lenses, and works whatever, the Yashinon dx lenses are pretty good too but the ML are better
Can’t wait to try on the ML, just wish my adapter will come from china today…. but if I’m realistic it will probably take more days shipping.
Hello Mattias !
I took a quick look yesterday evening and the lens is a M42 screw mount Auto Yashinon DX 50mm 1:1.7-16… so I think it is the same that you have.
The 135mm was so broken that it was no use to even try repairing it :-( It has now passed on… to lens heaven ;-)
Regards, Thomas
To bad about the 135mm. The DX 50mm/1.7 seems to have very soft, milky bokeh… check this out, tried it yesterday: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattiaswirf/2735463535/
