i have a nikkorex 35 with the mirror up and the shutter blade open all the time ….any advice as i want to try to fix it myself thanks

i have a yashica electro gsn 35 , incredible sharpness am i right?but i have one problem with my gsn ; the problem is the film advance display . when i advance my film display , the number of film display just don’t work . Can i fix it?
almost electro gsn i’ve seen in the web , are made in hongkong (stamped on the bottom) , but my gsn there is no “made in hongkong” on the bottom . is there any explanation of that?
i appologize if my english is not well , ’cause i come from indonesia and thanks for the explanation
